Recap and Review: Kamen Rider Ghost Episode 3

Ghost continues to set up how things are going to go weekly and we continue to have no two parters.  Let's see how this next episode goes in "Bullseye! Archery of The Righteous!".  We start off with a robbery by a unknown individual in a hood with psychic abilities.  Toothless is working with this person and sets informs him of the next job.  Meanwhile Takeru asks Sage what is the deal with the Ganma.  Sage completely ignores the question and points Takeru towards the next Eyecon which is Robin Hood.  Sage bugs out as Onari comes to tell Takeru of the mysterious robber by the name of Little John.  This person is acting like Robin Hood and has drawn the interest of the team due to the strange way he is committing these crimes.  Takeru is going to out to find out more about Little John while Akari will investigate the lab downstairs for more info on the Eyecons.  Onari is left alone to talk with a client that just arrived.  Takeru talks with the reporter covering Little John's robberies.  Mari Shirase states the obvious but seems to believe that John is doing the right thing and we see a small flashback about how her father was killed by corrupt individuals.  The two share a moment over there dead fathers and Takeru says that one should not fight justice in the shadows but in the light, odd thing to here from one bearing the title Kamen Rider.  Mari says that is naive and heads out.

Meanwhile Akari manages to make the obelisk light up and now can access information related to the stone decoration.  She finds a formula to back ghosts visible called Shiranui.  Back with Onari who is talking with the client who wants protection from Little John.  Speaking of said person he is there to steal a bow and arrow, presumably Robin's.  Takeru arrives to fight the Ganma helping John and goes Ore to take on the axe bearer.  The two take their fight outside and after a floaty back and forth Ghost goes Musashi and after deflecting some thrown axes finds our Ganma is gone along with the bow and arrow.  Back at the lab Akari is still missing a component which is then provided by Sage who becomes visible after Akari drops it in.  The gold glitter confetti is temporary but is effect and Sage heads out after helping.   Onari manages to find Little John's hideout while Takeru is informed by Akari of her findings.  A call from the Condor Phone has Takeru find out from Onari about his findings but his is quickly captured by John and without any way to track it they have no idea where he is.  Yurusen arrives to tell the pair to ask the phone to show them the way.  While they are initially confused they see the phone transform into a Condor and follow it to Onari, John and the Ganma.  They find out John is the reporter Mari and she has been doing this trying to fight for people.  The Ganma has been manipulating her so her life can be traded for the Parka Ghost in the bow and arrow.  This is how the Ganma summon Eyecons and Takeru refuse to have a Eyecon come out through this method.  Takeru manages to use existence as a ghost to kill the connection and save Mari.  Akari goes on to use her leaf blower plus game cartridge to make our axe wielder visible to all and encourages Mari to use her current job as a method to fight for people.

Takeru goes Ore and frees the Robin Parka Ghost and gest one more Eyecon for the collection.  Ghost and the Ganma battle it out although Edison proves to not be useful as the axe Ganma has a shield as well.  Robin Hood is up next with the Gan Gan Saber combining with the Condor Phone to get the Bow mode.  The two trade shots and Onari and Akari have to run from falling axes after they get a bit too close.  Yurusen arrives to tell Ghost he doesn't know how to help but Onari spots the holes created in the Ganma's shield that gives Takeru just enough of a hole to get the Omega Strike shot to hit true and send our Ganma off to where ever they go after being blown up.  The team celebrates a job well done as somebody with the Mobile Cobra recording the battle.  Our two bad guys tire of losing to the kid and we end with Mari turning herself in and the team glad to have another Eyecon and everybody finding their role in the team as 89 days are left on Takeru's clock.

This episode was pretty good as we continue to establish the status quo.  We get more details on the Ganma and now we know a bit more ho how the operate.  Yurusen and Sage continue to be suspicious and I am going to keep an eye on them from here on out.  Our mysterious not Chase makes his debut next and I wonder how similar or different he might be to Chase for the first part of the show.  The episode plot itself wasn't too bad but a bit predictable with Little John.  Overall this was decent to good third episode that helps Ghost continue to build its foundation and continues to further the mystery of the Ganma, Sage, and the obelisk.  Next week Ghost looks to connect to the Drive episodes as Newton premiers, and a new player enters the game as a second Rider shows himself.
