After the shocking truth from last week's episode how will our characters react this week let's find out with episode 21 of Kamen Rider Gaim "Yggdrasill's Secret.  After a recap of last week we catch up with Kouta as he tells Micchy what he learned from Takatora last week.  Micchy doesn't seem too surprised by this although we know that he has already been told this.  Micchy is shocked to find out Kouta did talk with his brother although Kouta never got his name.  

            After the opening for the week we get the rest of the conversation between the two with Micchy doing his best to justify to Kouta what Yggdrasill is doing.  This doesn't sit well with Kouta and he has a bad feeling about it.  We cut to Team United Melody where they discuss current events.  Short scene with not much to talk about as we cut to Micchy as he confronts his brother over telling Kouta about the forest.  Takatora wants to see how Kouta would react over the truth and even notes that it had been a while since he had seen somebody with the same anger that he has.  Micchy asks whether he told him about Project Ark or the Synch System.  Takatora tells him he didn't and we are back to having things that we are not sure about.  After Micchy leaves Takatora says that he wants Kouta to give up and says that his determination outweighs his doubts about the decisions he will have to make soon.

            Meanwhile Kaito is investigating the ruins looking for something in a photo he has.  We get a quick glimpse of something before it smilingly commands Inves goons to attack Kaito.  We cut to Sengoku as he discusses Kaito's position with Minato and even gives Sid the okay to push the Genesis Core to its limit which gives Sid some delight.  Kouta meanwhile asks his sister about possibly being kept in the dark about the end of the world.  She wouldn't want to be kept out of the loop since it is her life that is one the line.  Meanwhile Minato catches up with Kaito as they discuss the photo from earlier.  She reinforces the deal that Kaito has with Sengoku about getting all the power in the world for finding whatever is in the photo.

            Kouta heads off to Drupers for some advice from Bando.  He tells him that secrets have a lot of power and to be wary of whoever tells him to keep a secret.  He receives a call from Zack about some Inves goons stealing money from a car.  Kouta informs Micchy about this and the three head off to confront whoever is behind this. 

            The three arrive and see that it is two random goons who have Lockseeds that are responsible for this.  The five of them get into a fight before the two summon the Inves to make an escape.  Micchy and Zack henshin to fight to Inves while Kouta gives chase after the criminals.  Kouta is cut off by Sid who was the one to give them the Lockseeds.  Sid proceeds to tell Kouta that they our protecting the secret and not the city and even informs him that the ring around Yggdrasill tower is a super weapon that will wipe out the city if necessary.  Kouta is pissed at this and henshins to fight Sid.  Sid follows after him and the fight begins.  Micchy and Zack make quick work of the Inves although Zack struggles but they are no match for a double Squash Rider Kick.  Micchy heads off after Kouta as Zack goes to return the money.  Kouta is having a hard time against Sid and even gets dehenshined after a Cherry Energy Charge Shot.  Kouta is able to regroup and goes Jinba Lemon Arms to even the odds up.  The two trade shots back and forth but Kouta gets a shot in on Sid and after avoiding a Charge Shot uses a Lemon Energy Squash Kick to dehenshin Sid and claim his Energy Lockseed.  Micchy intervenes with a Inves goon to allow Sid to escape while Kouta is none the wiser.  Micchy finds out that Kouta knows about the ring around the tower and we end off with Kaito resolving to find the figure in the picture which looks like an Inves.

            This week was a bit slower but we get some character development for Kouta.  He resolves to not let Yggdrasill handle the Inves situation after hearing about the ring and even claims another Energy Lockseed for his collection.  Micchy shows he will betray anybody as he gives Sid an out.  Kaito shows us a little bit of his journey looking for a special Inves.  Team Yggdrasill continues to plot and we will have more on them next week from the looks of things.  Overall this was a good episode but it is more a fallout episode from last week's events.  Next week we see another Jinba Arms, a big crack opens in the city and it is Gaim vs. Shin Zangetsu Round 2.
