Off of the various betrayals and literally changing of the playing field for our characters let's see how our characters are doing with episode twenty-nine of Kamen Rider Gaim "The Lord of The Overlords."  We yet again have no cold opening which I am liking since we are hoping right in on the action with no break and the opening gets to be a way to get excited for the show every week.  We see Takatora is still in one piece after his tumble last week.  He is approached by a the White Overlord who has various Inves plants growing around where he walks.  Takatora only sees him for a second before he passes out. We cut to Kouta at Drupers wondering about why Takatora betrayed him.  We also find out that Mai is working there for free to cover for Kouta because she wants to help him and this is the best way she can.  Minato enters and needs to talk to Kouta and Micchy about something.

          We cut to Takatora bandaged up and being asked by the White Overlord various questions about their exploration.  Takatora receives a Sengoku Driver Redyue picked up two weeks ago to feed on the Lockseeds.  The Overlord complements him on this and also notes he was chosen by the forest and him along with the Overlords are the decedents of the people who populated the world before.  We cut to Sengoku as he tells Kaito, Kouta, and Micchy about Sid's betrayal and wants them to hunt him down.  Kouta finds out that Sagara has talked to them and that Lockvehicles will take time to make and they need them for now.  Kouta agrees only if he gets info on Takatora. 

          Back at Gaim HQ they discuss a plan of action.  Kaito provokes Micchy by covertly telling him about Micchy true allegiance.  Kouta doesn't believe it and waves it off.  Kaito leaves saying that Micchy will just tell them to split up anyway.  Back with Takatora the Overlord tells him about how they themselves destroyed the world and not the forest due to their own greed.  They believed only the strong deserved to live and it lead to their downfall.  The Overlord believes that Humanity is following the same path and can't stop the forest due to the same reasons that they fell once before.  Takatora tries to defend this but can't. 

            Meanwhile Micchy and Kouta arrive in the forest and split up from there.  Micchy goes back to the city to find Sid and strike a deal with him to take out Kouta.  Micchy doesn't want the power but would like to have a powerful friend. Micchy will fight Kouta while Sid will distract Kaito.  Kouta uses Jinba Peach to find Sid but only hears Sid attack Kaito.  He then hears Micchy in a "fight" with Takatora and runs off to help him.  Micchy transforms into Nise, fake, Zangetsu and attacks Kouta when he arrives.  Kouta is left bewildered by this and gets attacked.  Kaito uses a Sparking attack to get distance and transforms into Lemon Energy Arms to fight Sid.  Sid tries his best but the fruity knight is too much for him one on one.  Kouta resolves to fight for the trust he has in others and will find out the truth the hard way, by beating it out of the white rider.  He will not lose now and Micchy stands no chance against him as a Au Lait attack sends him flying.  Luck holds out for the snake as Demushu arrives to pick a fight.  Sid runs off to join in with Kaito in pursuit.  Redyue see the two run off and has something to say about it.  Kouta tries to defend the imposter from Redyue but is gets a mud hole stomped in him.  Sid arrives to fight Redyue and wants the fruit.

          Meanwhile Takatora finds out that the forbidden fruit will go to whoever will be chosen by the forest and is shaped like a golden apple.  The Overlord will not let them achieve it since they are just as foolish as they are.  We eventually have a two on one on one fight between Redyue, Sid, Kouta and Kaito break out as they trade opponents and knock Sid back.  A portal to Zawame opens up and Redyue makes a break for the city.  Then in what is a flash back to about two weeks ago I believe a blue and red warrior arrives in Zawame and we end off their. 

          This week was the start of some interesting developments as Micchy looks to be double dealing with Sengoku and Sid which may in turn burn him on both ends.  Kaito continues to tease Micchy at every turn and in a way has Kouta's back in the sense as he won't betray him anytime soon.  Kouta resolves to fight on and take Nise Zangetsu down and continue to fight for the future of Humanity.  This is defiantly not what Micchy expected and will cause him a great many headache to come.  Sengoku pits his enemies against each other in hopes they take each other out but I don't believe he will be that lucky.  Overall this was a good episode and showed how far Kouta and Kaito have come with a big cliffhanger at the end it leaves me wondering what is to come next.  Next week we flashback to about two weeks ago as another hero arrives to fight crime and advertise his movie Kikaider Reboot.
