After the thrilling conclusion to last week's episode of Gaim let's find out how the gang is doing in episode thirty-five of Kamen Rider Gaim "Micchy's Ark".  We pick up with Roshuo telling Takatora he is free to do whatever he wants now since a leader should bear witness to the destruction of their world.  We come back from the cold opening to Kouta and Kaito reacting to the missiles diapering.  Redyue gloats about how things are going according to plan before Gurisha attacks and she leaves to do other things.  The two riders fight the Overlord once more and with some matador tricks and Kaito holding the bull in place he goes down once and for all as our heroes claim another victory. 

          At the tower Akira is lead to a room here more people are being held captive including Rat and Rica.  The two are worried but Akira tells them somebody will come for them eventually.  In the forest Roshuo opens portals all over the world and speeds up the process of destroying the world.  Team Gaim hears about the portals from Exposition News Network and shocked by it.  They are all taken down a peg by this but Kouta tells them that now the fate of the world is in their hands. Kaito questions why save the world that was happy to sacrifice them but Kouta says he will do more than that as he will save his sister and the others trapped in the tower as well.

          Takatora takes a stroll around the abandoned city and wonders what have Yggdrasill been fighting. He sees Kouta joined by Kaito and Minato in the field and wonders what influence Sengoku has on Kouta's team.  The team can't find a way into the tower and Kouta has to be talked out of charging in head first.  Kouta suggest Micchy might know something but the two try to tell him he is a traitor and playing him for a fool.  Kouta dismisses it as the three are attacked and forced into a fight.  The three henshin and Kaito decides to be nostalgic and go Banana Arms, something he hasn't done in many episodes.  The three fall back to regroup before more show up.  Rat and Rica wake up in "Micchy's Office" to find out he is gathering people together to live comfortably.  He also sees Redyue start his machine in the forest to bring Roshuo's queen back from the dead.  He explains to Micchy that the people captured will be the fuel for the machine and their life force is what will bring her back.  He reassures Micchy on their deal.  Mai is gathering supplies and leaves the money for them before Micchy finds her to convince her to come with him. Micchy tells her about the deal he made and soon Team Gaim will be reunited minus Kouta of course.  Mai questions him on why he made this deal with the group that wants to wipe them out.  She says that this is what Yggdrasill wanted to do before and Kouta would have no part of this.  This sets him off on a rant on how Kouta is always wrong and has put her in danger too many times.  Micchy wonders why she always take his side and Mai tells her that she wants to help him bear the burden and believes in the hope he believes in.  Micchy takes this to heart and feels he now knows how to take Kouta down. 

          Back at the tower Rat and Rica go to get Akira and get out of the tower.  They find her attached to the machine like the rest and can't get it off as Redyue walks in.  Kouta is at Drupers as Kaito and Minato leave.  Kouta wonders about him not needing to eat for weeks as Micchy walks in wanting to talk.  The two proceed to have a conversation about the hope Kouta believes in.  He wants to save the world without anymore sacrifices.  Micchy tells him he is delusional and tells him he would be the hero humanity needed if he was willing to make the tough decisions.  He goes Melon Energy to eliminate Kouta and take out the cause for all the suffering of those around him.  Takatora is nearby and wonders why he has his belt.  Kouta is shocked by this and can only call Micchy by his full name before he henshins to fight Micchy off.  We end as the two clash weapons. 

          This week was a big build up to next week's episode.  Micchy continues to delude himself into believing Kouta is the cause of all his problems and finally decides to step out of the shadows and show his true face to Kouta and Mai. Kouta continues to be a bit dense but shows he will at least defend himself against his former friend.  Takatora just wonders about but we will get more form him next week. Mai shows her resolve to help Kouta and the others and sends Micchy off the deep end after outright not going along with his wishes. Kaito and Minato do their best to knock some sense into Kouta but we all knew this would fail.  Rica and Rat get some screen time but things don't bode well for those two I believe.  Overall this was another good episode that will lead into a great episode next week.  Next week Takatora has a chat with Kouta about Micchy, Redyue takes to the field of battle and the brothers face off in what is the most anticipated fight of the show.
